RESUMEN

Este estudio se propuso documentar las diferentes especies de murciélagos en la localidad de Barañáin utilizando detectores de ultrasonidos con identificación automática de especies, así como la influencia del nivel y el tipo de iluminación sobre ellos, en comparación con otros factores ambientales. Al analizar los datos se pudo comprobar que la mayor parte de los especímenes encontrados son murciélagos comunes (Pipistrellus), y que la luz artificial influye sobre su actividad. Se observó que la mayoría prefieren ambientes oscuros y que el tipo de iluminación (LED o sodio) afecta de distinto modo a las diferentes especies. Además, el tipo de vegetación, la presencia de agua o de edificaciones y actividad humana también condicionaron la actividad.

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to document the different species of bats in the town of Barañáin using ultrasonic detectors with automatic species identification, as well as the influence of level and type of lighting on them compared to other environmental factors. After analyzing the data it was found that most of the specimens found are common bats (Pipistrellus), and that artificial light influences their activity. It was observed that the majority prefer dark environments and that the type of lighting (LED or sodium) affects different species differently. In addition, the type of vegetation, the presence of water or buildings and human activity also conditioned the activity.
